Bharat Abhyudaya Foundation (BAF) is a not-for-profit organization founded by a group of young and energetic IIM / Harvard graduates who wanted to explore the reality beyond the mirage of their Ivy League institutes and US jobs. Since 2012, BAF is committed to the cause of elementary education reform at institutional level while working closely with the civil societies as well as the government in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
We at BAF work closely with the top leadership of the State and Central Government to drive better policies and more importantly their efficient delivery through effective monitoring mechanisms. Effective implementation of Right to Education clauses and innovative initiatives of building accountability around the system has been our major focus areas.
BAF is registered in Lucknow as a Pan-India society since Aug 08, 2012 under Society Registration Act 1860. Its mission is to drive towards an education model that makes quality education accessible to every child while re-defining ‘quality’ from rote-based to learning-oriented that encourages experiments, creativity and innovation.
