Samina Bano - Chairperson
She works with the state government in an informal capacity concerning school education and policies. She was among the eminent Jury for UP’s esteemed Manthan Award. She was also a speaker on ‘Inclusive Education’ at the prestigious ‘inspirED’ conference by ‘Teach for India’ in 2014. She was awarded with ‘Women Super Achiever Award’ at World Women Leadership Congress in 2015. Samina holds an MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and B-Tech in Computer Science from Pune University. She has total 5 years of corporate experience in India, Singapore and the United States in reputed multinationals like Deloitte Consulting, Proctor & Gamble and Texas Instruments at various positions. She is known for her strong analytical skills with numbers and leadership for ‘getting things done’.

Aamir Husain - Executive Director
He is an aspiring social entrepreneur with 3 years of domestic and international experience working with Michelin Tires. He is a B-Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation from VIT, Vellore. During his stay in Europe he witnessed an equal society which made him wonder why a similar situation is not possible in India. While defending India during various coffee table conversations with colleagues in Spain, he understood that it’s the duty of citizens to be the change they want in their country and just criticizing the system won’t do anything. With time he realized that to bring about the changes at the grass root levels, educated individuals have to contribute their bit in social sector. He left his corporate job to pursue a career in development sector. Currently, he is the core member of the BAF team. He dreams of India where everyone has equal access to quality education irrespective of any socio-economic factors. He has been instrumental in leading RTE project right from design, strategy, planning to actual field implementation with field executives and volunteers.
